Resolution Energy recently supported Eastleigh Borough Council in preparing an Energy Statement to accompany a planning application for a proposed development of 192 new homes. The Energy Statement was developed to demonstrate compliance with local and national planning policy, focusing on reducing energy demand, improving efficiency, and lowering carbon emissions across the scheme.

Working closely with the project team, Resolution Energy assessed the proposed building fabric, heating strategies, and opportunities for low-carbon technologies. The Energy Statement clearly set out the approach to minimising operational energy use and outlined how the development would contribute to more sustainable, future-ready housing.

By providing clear, robust technical evidence, Resolution Energy helped support the planning submission and ensured that energy and carbon considerations were fully integrated at an early stage of the project.
