About us

Resolution Energy was founded by Claire Westron in 2018, based on 20+ years’ experience in the housing and construction sectors.

Claire spent eight years of her career within Local Government in housing, planning and environmental teams, working on a wide range of projects to deliver energy efficiency, renewable energy and affordable warmth initiatives within the domestic sector.

 

She moved into consultancy in in 2007 and gained accreditations for a number of environmental assessment methodologies including EcoHomes, the Code for Sustainable Homes, The Home Quality Mark, BREEAM and SAP. She has provided consultancy on a spectrum of new build and refurbishment projects in both the residential and commercial property sectors. After working for various consultancy firms for over 10 years, Claire founded Resolution Energy in 2018.

 

Claire has a degree in Environmental Sciences and an MSc in Climate Change and Sustainability. As part of her MSc studies, she undertook research into the impact of occupant behaviour on the performance of low energy housing in the social housing sector.

 

Claire is accredited through Elmhurst Energy as an ‘On Construction’ Domestic Energy Assessor, Level 4 Non Domestic Energy Assessor and Better Buildings Consultant. She is also a qualified Energy Advisor.
